Getting 50 aircraft in the air at the same time is going to take some doing. A big number of the participants are going to either be new to
RC or new to Burning Man. These pages should help those folks setup time lines for being ready to play.

Individual Preparation for Burning Man Time Lines: More details needed!
- Immediately: Buy ticket from burningman.com: $300
- Immediately: Reserve 72 MHz channel if you are flying on those frequencies. Sent email to eachplacebo@gmail.com, you need a ticket number to reserve.
- Set aside vacation time with work
- Arrange transport to Gerlach (buy plane tix/rent car) etc
- Arrange camping for desert
- May 31: Pick folks to camp with: Brooklyn Aerodrome recommended
- Sort out shade/housing. RV? Tent? Sleeping in car is pretty rough.
- Get night friendly outfits--you must be visible at night or you will get run over
- August 24: Final shopping on way to burn stocking up in Reno
Learning to Build/Fly/Design your Aircraft: More details needed!
- Immediately: Get radio gear and basic airframe for learning and first night flier: $200-$450 depending on
how you approach it. The setup we are recommending that will allow autonomous flying is going to set
you back $450. If you are flying with Brooklyn Aerodrome then we can help keep the costs down by
providing a charger and home built airframes.
- Immediately Get a flight simulator going: Free
- May 31: Learn to fly during the day
- June 30: Rig your airplane for night flying
- July 15: Learn to fly at night
- July 15: Build your Burning Man primary airplane
- August 1: Test Fly well before Burning Man
